Happy Friday! Today in the What Caught My Eye series, we’re going to a place you might not expect to find home decor - H&M! (Yes! It’s true!)

If you’ve been a long-time follower, you’ve heard me profess my love for this “secret source” for home decor and accessories, but it’s worth talking about again and sharing some new finds. And if it’s news to you that H&M even has home stuff, well, you’re in for a treat! They don’t carry their home collection in many stores, so I think that’s part of why a lot of people don’t know about it, but I’m a big fan! It’s easy to shop online and shipping is free over $40.

Their focus is on the smaller items for the home like textiles, tabletop decor, and small storage accessories (think baskets). They’ve got some pretty awesome pieces and they’re really affordable, just like their clothes. While I do come across things that are a little, let’s say, strange, every once in awhile, for the most part, I’ve really enjoyed looking through and shopping their collections. What has truly impressed me though is the level of quality you get for the price. I’ve bought several things from there over the years and have been really happy with them. I can’t make a blanket statement for everything they have, but in my personal experience I’ve been quite satisfied. Most of their pieces are made from natural materials like cotton, linen, porcelain, so that’s a plus too.

If you’re in the market to dress up your home or add some new decor for the holidays, H&M Home is a great place to look!

The styles that H&M Home tends to carry changes from season to season, but they usually fall into modern, eclectic/boho, or farmhouse for the most part. They also have a lot of neutral, basic items that fit into just about any style. One thing to note is that their inventory moves really fast, so if you see something you like, don’t put off your purchase. It may be gone the next time you look!

Now let’s take a look at what caught my eye. Below each image you’ll find text links for my favorite products and you’ll also see a slider of clickable images that will take you right to the item on the H&M website. (If you’re on a feed reader or in your email, you’ll need to head to the full site to access that feature.) Happy shopping!

H&M Home Home Decor Favorites

H&M Home is one of my favorite places to shop for affordable home decor and accessories, and I’ve rounded up a bunch of my favorites for you! They have a mix of styles ranging from boho to modern, and it’s all budget-friendly. // #designerfinds …

Pom Pom Basket | Black Stoneware Plant Pot | Woven Seagrass Belly Basket | Golden Yellow Velvet Pillow | White Faux Fur Pillow | Gray Dot Throw Pillow | Red Tassel Pillow | Gray Cable Knit Pillow | Green Pom Pom Throw | Beige & Gray Wool Throw | Black & White Throw | Charcoal Gray Textured Pillow | Wire Storage Basket | Matte Glass Vases | Black & White Pot | Cotton Storage Basket

Let’s chat about a few of my faves individually:

  • Pillow Covers: Clearly there are a lot of them in this little roundup and for good reason - they have LOTS of great ones at super affordable price points. Most of them are under $15 and they also sell feather-down inserts to pair with them. This golden yellow velvet one and the red tassel one are my pretty snazzy - they come in multiple colors as well!

  • Beige & Gray Wool Throw: We’re definitely in blanket season over here and this one looks so cozy! I love that it’s neutral enough to go with anything. Drape it over an armchair or tuck it into a basket when you’re not using it and it acts as a pretty piece of decor.

  • Black & White Pot: I thought this little planter pot was just too cute to pass by! It’s a great size for a smaller plant and you can tuck it onto a bookshelf, place it on your dresser, or put it anywhere that needs a little bit of life. H&M has a TON of great planters right now, so if you like what you’re seeing, be sure to look at their entire collection!

  • Woven Seagrass Belly Basket: Can you ever have enough baskets? I think not! They’re multifunctional and stylish - you really can’t go wrong with having multiples around. We have a belly basket like this by our coat rack and it’s a perfect catchall for our winter gear like hats and gloves this time of year.

H&M Tabletop Decor Favorites

H&M Home is one of my favorite places to shop for affordable home decor and tabletop decor, and I’ve rounded up a bunch of my favorites for you! They have a mix of styles ranging from boho to modern, and it’s all budget-friendly. // #designerfin…

Black Double Candlestick | Gold Modern Candlestick | Leather Handle Wood Cutting Board | Gold Curved Candelabra | Black Stoneware Jar & Pots | Gray & Gold Plant Pot | Long Wood Tray | Set of 3 Wooden Bowls | Gray & White Striped Tablecloth | Green Striped Table Runner | Dark Gray Patterned Tablecloth | Black & White Boho Planter | Black Marble Salt & Pepper Shakers | Smoke Glass Bubble Candlesticks | Mable Cutting Board

Here are some notes about a few of these pieces:

  • Dark Gray Patterned Tablecloth: I am super impressed with H&M’s selection of modern and farmhouse-style tablecloths right now, and I really liked this one in particular. Using a tablecloth or runner is a great way to dress up your table or give your dining room a different look without making major changes.

  • Black Marble Salt & Pepper Shakers: We have the most boring salt and pepper shaker in the world and I’m so tempted by these fun marble-esque ones! They’re subtle, but stylish enough to leave on the table all the time.

  • Gold Curved Candelabra: These are great statement-makers for your dining table, but candlesticks can also be used in a bunch of other places too like on your mantle or on top of a storage piece. Cluster a bunch together or keep it simple with two or three. H&M has lots to choose from, and I included several here because they were just too good!

  • Leather Handle Wood Cutting Board: Wood cutting boards are handy items to have around when you’re entertaining or bringing something to a party. I like the leather handle on this one in particular - it feels a little different and unique. It would be perfect for a cheese or charcuterie platter.

So tell me, have you ever shopped at H&M for your home? I’m constantly amazed at what they have and how affordable it all is!

Have a great weekend, y’all!
