Happy Friday! Today in the What Caught My Eye series, we’re headed to a retailer y’all will all be familiar with - Pottery Barn!

Pottery Barn is one of those places that’s been around forever - and for good reason! They’ve got classic furniture and decor at reasonable prices, and you can bet you’ll find a storefront in just about every mall in every city across America. I’ve spent a lot of time on their website and in their retail locations since it’s one of my go-to sources for my e-design clients and I’m excited to share some of my current living room and bedroom favorites with you today.

I’ll be honest - some of their stuff is a little too traditional for me, but that doesn’t mean I have to write the whole store off. I’ve found lots of pieces there that fit in beautifully with styles like modern farmhouse, industrial, and eclectic. Remember, when you’re shopping for your home, it’s all about finding the right item. It doesn’t matter where it comes from in the end! So if you’ve found that Pottery Barn hasn’t necessarily fit with your style in the past, give it another shot. The collections change seasonally, and I think that overall they’ve moved towards a slightly cleaner look and away from the super cottage-y look you may remember from years past.

Right now is a good time to shop too with their Buy More, Save More event. It’s happening through this weekend and you can save up to 30% on your purchase! Use code SAVEMORE at checkout to take advantage of the savings. This is perfect if you’ve got some big purchases or several smaller ones to make for your home - a discount of 30% will go a long way in making something like a sofa more affordable. If you’re catching this post after the sale is over, don’t worry. Pottery Barn consistently runs special deals and pricing throughout the year so if there’s a piece you’re eyeing and it’s currently out of your price range, just wait. It’ll likely go on sale soon!

Now let’s take a look at what caught my eye. Below each image you’ll find links to my favorite products. You can also scroll down to the very bottom of the post to an area that has individual clickable images that will take you right to the item on the Pottery Barn website. (If you’re on a feed reader or in your email, you’ll need to head to the full site to access that feature.)

Pottery Barn Living Room Favorites

Pottery Barn is one of my favorite places to shop for farmhouse, industrial, and classic furniture and decor, and I’ve rounded up a bunch of my favorites for your living room to share with you! // #designerfinds #interiordesign #decor #farmhousestyl…

Concrete-Look Coffee Table | Leather X-Base Stool Ottoman | Harper Sofa with Tufted Seat | Blue Ikat Rug | Plaid Throw Blanket | Magazine Basket | “Sea Petals” Framed Art Print | Black Task Floor Lamp | Industrial Flush Mount | Floor Lamp with Trays | Gray Ceramic Table Lamp with USB | Honeycomb Accent Stool | Red Kilim Style Pillows | Brass Console Table | Wells Modern Swivel Chair | Faux Olive Tree

Let’s chat about a few of these pieces individually. I’ve got five for you this week - I just couldn’t narrow it down to four!

  • Harper Sofa with Tufted Seat: I’m really into bench seats right now on sofas (nobody has to sit on the dreaded crack!) and the squared off shape of this sofa is beautiful as well. I like how it has a modern edge, yet could fit in perfectly with other styles as well. Depending on the fabric you choose, this sofa can be really budget-friendly as well!

  • Concrete-Look Coffee Table: This coffee table has the look of concrete, but is actually made of a composite material so it’s not crazy heavy! (Genius.) I’d pair two of these next to each other in front of a sofa or you could also use one as a low side table.

  • Floor Lamp with Trays: Short on space? Pick up a lamp that does double duty. Most floor lamps that have some sort of tray or table integrated into them aren’t very attractive or look awkward, but this one nails it.

  • Blue Ikat Rug: This rug is already a steal and it’s on sale right now. It’s a synthetic rug made of nylon, so it’s very durable. Note that nylon isn’t as stain resistant as polyester rugs though, so keep that in mind if you are worried about spills and messes.

  • Wells Modern Swivel Chair: Now THIS is a statement chair. I love the modern style and the fact that it swivels. Grab a pair for a living room or put one in a corner to make a cozy reading nook.

Pottery Barn Bedroom Favorites

Pottery Barn is one of my favorite places to shop for farmhouse, industrial, and classic furniture and decor, and I’ve rounded up a bunch of my favorites for your bedroom to share with you! // #designerfinds #interiordesign #decor #farmhousestyle #m…

Brass & White Modern Nightstand Table | Tall Basket Tote | Linen Diamond Quilt and Shams | Gray & Brass 3 Drawer Dresser | Gray & Beige Block Print Sham | Blue Medallion Print Sham | Adjustable Arch Sconce | Global Ceramic Table Lamp | Blue Abstract Art (40” Square) | Reclaimed Wood & Metal Nightstand | Classic White Tallboy Dresser | Octagonal Rattan Mirror | Extra Long Indigo Lumbar Pillow | Mohair Tassel Lumbar Pillow | White Wood Bed

You could probably put a whole room together just using some of the ones I rounded up in this moodboard! Here are some notes about a few of these pieces:

  • Blue Abstract Art (40” Square): I love the simplicity and style of this large-scale abstract art. It’s on the pricier side, but art can be such a game-changer in a room, so it can totally be worth the investment.

  • Linen Diamond Quilt and Shams: It’s hard to go wrong with linen bedding. It’s cool in the summer and can layer on top of a duvet in the winter for extra warmth. I love the diamond pattern of this one. You can purchase the quilt and shams separately to mix and match with other bedding as well.

  • Gray & Brass 3 Drawer Dresser: This dresser is a super versatile piece of furniture - if you have a tall bed and need extra storage it could actually double as a nightstand or you could put it in an an entryway. Accent cabinets are really great to have around in all sorts of rooms!

  • Adjustable Arch Sconce: These elegant arched sconces are made to live in a bedroom. They don’t take up precious surface space like a table lamp does, but they provide great light and make a nice statement on the wall thanks to their height.

So tell me, do you have any favorite pieces from this round up or from your own shopping?

Have a great weekend, y’all!
