Gift Guide: Hostess Gifts Under $25

Raise your hand if you’ve got a holiday party or two coming up! It’s always nice to bring something to show your appreciation to the host or hostess, but coming up with a good idea or two can be challenging. While you can never go wrong with something like a bottle of wine, get creative and plan ahead and order a few of these options below! Then you’ll always be prepared with a thoughtful gift.

While a lot of hostess gift lists have ideas with higher price tags, nothing you see here will run you more than about $25. Wrap one up before you head out to your next shindig!

Gift Guide for the Design Lover

Turkish Hand Towels - everyone needs a pretty hand towel or two! Olive & Linen has great sets that you can gift all together or break them up to give individually. You can even use them as a creative wrapping paper for another small gift or two.

Nest Hand Soap - take an everyday task up a notch with this glorious scented soap. Nest makes some of the most amazing scents, and Bamboo is my favorite right now. Their candles are fantastic too.

Oversized Shawl Scarf - Who doesn’t like to stay cozy in these cold months? This neutral scarf is sure to get the job done. I like that it’s two-tone, but goes with anything. It says it’s cashmere, but I’m not entirely sure I trust that it is at this price. Either way, it’s well rated and super soft, so it feels like a winner!

Teleties Hair Ties - I’ve been using these for over a year now and hardly use anything else! They keep my fine hair in place even on long runs and I love that they don’t leave a big dent in my hair when I take them out.

Match Holder - This is a nifty little solution for the person who can’t ever find matches or a lighter for their candles! Keep them on a shelf in this cute container with a striker on the bottom and you’ll be set. (Note that this doesn’t come with matches, so be sure to fill it before gifting it.)

Felt Animal Ornament - This collection of felt animals is so adorable! This bear is just one example. Wouldn’t it be adorable to tie one of these onto the top of a wrapped present?

Rifle Paper Co. Notebook Set - These little notebooks are so handy! I’ve used a set I received as a gift for several years now. The work great for planning, note taking, list-making, etc. And they’re so pretty to look at!

Salt & Pepper Pinch Pots - I love the look of these salt and pepper cellars. They’re so handy to have nearby and they look pretty on your countertop or table.

Waxed Amarylis Bulb - These are just the coolest. My mom always had one of these growing up and now my plant-loving self is a fan too. Gift it when it’s just starting to grow and your recipient will get to watch it grow and bloom throughout the winter.

Beeswax Taper Candles - Taper candles are classic and they’re meant to be used, so they make a great gift! Replenish your host’s supply with these colored beeswax candles in a set of two.

Happy holiday shopping!
