Happy Friday, my friends, and happy Labor Day weekend to those of you in the U.S.! We're headed to Annapolis for a wedding this weekend - what do you have planned?
Since it IS a holiday weekend there are a ton of sales going on, so if you've been thinking about purchasing some furniture or decor for your home, now is a great time to do that.
For today's "What You Should Be Buying Right Now At: ___" post, I'm covering one of my favorite sites for home decor - Minted!
Now you may be familiar with Minted because of their adorable Christmas cards, wedding invitations, and party invitations, but did you know they have an incredible selection of art prints and other home decor items? They have everything from photography to abstract prints in their art collection, and in their home decor store, they have things like pillows, curtains, napkins, and even kids' teepees! What I love about Minted is that everything in their Home and Art sections is designed or created by independent artists. Shopping Minted is a way to shop local, which I always love to do when I can! As you can see in my product roundup, I'm showing off their art prints and pillows and I couldn't resist throwing in one of the teepees! You'll also see that I included an art shelf in the roundup - these are a great alternative for displaying wall art, especially if you have a collection or you like to rotate art in and out. One thing to note: their home decor items are made to order, so they take four weeks to reach you. In a world where we've gotten used to things getting to us fast, this may seem like an eternity to wait, but the products are so unique they're worth the wait!
