Hey friends! Today in the What Caught My Eye series, we’re tackling a store that you might not expect - The Home Depot!

Yep, you read that right, The Home Depot! Did you know that they carry furniture and home decor for every room in your home? They’re really gunning to become a one-stop-shop to provide everything you could need to build, renovate, and furnish your home. It’s pretty amazing!

A couple of years ago, I became familiar with their furniture and home decor department thanks to a catalog that showed up in my mailbox featuring their in-house brand, Home Decorators Collection. A big kudos to their marketing department because they did an amazing job creating a magazine-like catalog that showcased their products beautifully - I was definitely intrigued!

Along with Home Decorators Collection, which features mostly furniture, they also have furniture and home decor from a bunch of other brands you’ve probably seen on other sites like Wayfair and Target. The result? A giant collection in a variety of styles and price points. Well done, Home Depot, well done.

Today I’m going to focus on Home Decorators Collection since those products are unique to HD and I’m guessing that a lot of you aren’t familiar with it! Its overall style tends to lean more traditional/transitional, which isn’t really what I’m drawn to, but I didn’t let that stop me. :) I scoured the collection and came up with a bunch of great pieces that ended up pretty much falling into a couple of styles that I DO love - modern farmhouse and boho! It just goes to show that you can find the perfect pieces for your home just about anywhere; you just have to look and dig a little bit.

Let’s take a look at my favorite finds. I’ve got a roundup for both the living room and bedroom for you to look through. Below each image you’ll find links to the products roughly in order from top to bottom. If it’s easier for you, you can scroll down to the very bottom of the post where I have individual clickable images that will take you right to the pieces on The Home Depot’s website. (If you’re on a feed reader or in your email, you’ll need to head to the full site to access that feature.)

Home Decorators Collection Favorites - Living Room

Did you know that the Home Depot carries furniture? They’ve got their own brand - Home Decorators Collection - and I’ve rounded up my favorites for your living room and bedroom from that collection that fall into the modern farmhouse style. Grab the…

Blue Modern Wingback Chair | Linen Sectional | Round Black Side Table | Mid-Century Modern Buffet | Round Tufted Ottoman | Beige Slipcovered Farmhouse Sofa | Industrial Metal & Wood Bookcase | Extra Wide Slipcovered Chair | Wicker Dining Chair | Moroccan Rug | Round Nailhead Coffee Table

Now here are some notes about a few of these pieces:

  • Blue Modern Wingback Chair: The lines on this chair are so fun! There is some subtle nailhead detailing that you can see if you look closely. It comes in several colors, but I thought this blue was so lovely - wouldn’t a pair of these look awesome with a neutral sofa and a fun rug?

  • Linen Sectional: I’d generally choose a sofa over a sectional any day, but there’s definitely a time and a place for one! I liked the clean lines and fabric on this one, and it has a nice, deep seat if you’re one that really loves to lounge. The price is also really reasonable!

  • Mid-Century Modern Buffet: It’s tough for me to resist a mid-century buffet and this one is just about perfect. It’s made of solid mango wood and comes almost fully assembled, which are both wins in my book.

  • Moroccan Rug: Honestly, I was pretty disappointed by the rug selection in Home Decorators Collection. Most of them were just ugly, unfortunately - I’m not sure what’s going on there with that section, but I did find this one tribal-style gem. I liked the variation in tones as well as the overall pattern. Be aware that this particular image is a little bit deceiving - based on the reviews as well as one of the other images of the rug, the background is much whiter than the cream tone you see!

Boho Carved Headboard | Polished Nickel 6 Arm Chandelier | White & Brass Campaign Mirror | Blue Ikat Bedding | Gray Bone Inlay Dresser | Beige Vanity Stool | Rustic Farmhouse Nightstand | White Modern Glam Nightstand | Cowhide Rug | Floral Shams | Gray Campaign Dresser

Here are some notes about a few of these pieces:

  • Boho Carved Headboard: If you want your bed to be the focal point of your bedroom and Anthropologie is your dream store, this headboard might be the perfect fit! They also carry a full bed version with a matching frame.

  • White & Brass Campaign Mirror: Campaign pieces are a classic and I’ve always loved their details - the inset pulls and corner brackets are A+ in my book. Home Decorators Collection has a several options in that style including that mirror and a dresser that you’ll see in the bottom right corner. They have two colors available, white and dove gray, for most of the pieces.

  • Gray Bone Inlay Dresser: Ready for a splurge-worthy piece? This dresser is it! Bone inlay pieces can be showstoppers in a room and I love everything about this one. I can see using it in several spots in your home: from a little girl’s room to the perfect standalone piece in an entryway.

  • Cowhide Rug: Ok, so I cheated a little bit here - this rug isn’t actually from Home Decorators Collection (eek!). I wanted to find a fun rug for the bedroom, but as I mentioned above in the living room section, their collection left something to be desired, so I found this guy by a different brand! Cowhide rugs are great on their own or layered on top of a natural fiber rug.

So, are you intrigued by what The Home Depot has to offer to furnish your home? Did you have a favorite piece from this roundup today?

Have a great weekend, y’all!
